2023 Madison KG

Introduction:

On March 4, 2023, I went to chess tournament at Rainbow Elementary School. This is my first time to a tournament and I was very excited to it. There were 5 rounds in this tournament. Below is the photo taken from my first round of my first tournament.

Games Played:

Out of the total 5 games, I made it to drew first 2 of the games. I was super happy about it because I didn't lost my first tournament game of my life. Unfortunately, I lost next three consecutive games. I'm Ok about it since I'm just the beginner to chess and it is my first tournament. This thought me that I need to learn lot.

Awards:

There was total of 16 players played in this tournament. Out of all 16 players, I got 15th place. I still awarded medal because the sponsors were super kind to give everyone a prize to motivate all for the upcoming tournaments.
